3. Website Access and Server Log Files
This website is hosted on a server of TAKE IT GmbH & Co. KG, Heidturmweg 80, 33100 Paderborn, Germany. The data is processed exclusively in Germany. When the website is accessed, the web server automatically processes information transmitted by your browser. This includes, in particular, IP address, date and time of access, page or file accessed, amount of data transferred, browser type and operating system, and the previously visited page (referrer).
The processing serves to deliver the website, to keep its operation secure and stable, and to analyze errors. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the secure and functional operation of the website.
Server log files are deleted automatically after a short period, unless longer storage is required in an individual case to investigate a specific security incident. This data is not combined with other data sources.
4. Contact by Email or Phone
If you contact us by email or phone, we process the personal data you provide, in particular your name, contact details and the content of your request, insofar as this is necessary to handle your request and for the subsequent business communication. There is no contact form on this website.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the initiation or performance of a contract. In all other cases, the legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the handling of business enquiries.
The data is deleted as soon as the purpose of the communication no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion. Statutory retention periods apply to communication relevant under commercial and tax law.
5. Cookies, Analytics and External Content
This website does not set cookies and does not store any information on your device. Consent under Section 25(1) TDDDG is therefore not required.
We do not use analytics, tracking or marketing services or social media plugins. All fonts, images and scripts are loaded from our own web space. No connection to third-party servers is established when the website is accessed.
6. Recipients and Processors
Personal data is received only by the service providers we use to operate the website and our email communication. These are TAKE IT GmbH & Co. KG (website hosting, see Section 3) and Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland (email mailboxes via Microsoft 365). Both process the data on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. Data is passed on to other third parties only where we are legally obliged to do so.
7. Transfers to Third Countries
No personal data is transferred to countries outside the European Union or the European Economic Area in the operation of the website. For email communication via Microsoft 365, processing by Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out. In that case it is based on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on standard contractual clauses (Art. 45, 46 GDPR).
8. Retention Period
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the respective purpose or as required by statutory retention obligations. Details are set out in Sections 3 and 4.
9. Your Rights
Subject to the statutory requirements, you have the following rights:
- Access to information about the processing of your personal data (Art. 15 GDPR)
- Rectification of inaccurate or completion of incomplete data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- Erasure of your personal data (Art. 17 GDPR)
- Restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- Data portability where the requirements are met (Art. 20 GDPR)
- Withdrawal of consent with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)
Where we process your data on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, you may object to this processing at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will then no longer process the data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims. An informal message to the contact details stated in Section 1 is sufficient.
10. Right to Lodge a Complaint with a Supervisory Authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority regarding the processing of your personal data (Art. 77 GDPR). The supervisory authority responsible for us is:
Landesbeauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit Nordrhein-Westfalen

11. Provision of Data and Automated Decision-Making
You are under no statutory or contractual obligation to provide us with personal data. However, the website cannot be delivered without the technically required access data, and we cannot respond to enquiries without your contact details.
No automated decision-making, including profiling, within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.
12. Data Security
We take appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. The measures are adapted to technological developments and the respective level of risk.
